Planning permission was granted on 8th September 2006. However, as this is a large development, objections were lodged on October 5th by numerous parties. An Bord Pleanala will give a decision on 29th March.

The Department of Education is continuing with the building process and we are in architectural stage at the moment. The plans for the school be seen here . Unfortunately, we were not suitable for a generic building as the site is on a slope and so new plans will need to be submitted to the planning authority once they are signed off.
