Crazy Hair Day
Students participated in a crazy hair day on March 27th in aid of “Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin”.
At assembly Múinteoir Anita, along with Caitlín and Leah from Rang a 5, donated 37″ of hair to “The Little Princess Trust”. Many thanks to Lorna Davis who did the chopping and styling as well as all those who participated on the day!

Pupils from Rang a 4 to Rang a 6 participated in a chess tournament this week. 5 finalists were chosen to represent the school. Congratulations to Daragh, Seán, Marc, Callum and Victoria.
Na hAmbasadóirí Frithbhulaíochta
A training course was held in Newbridge College this week for students and teachers. 5 children attended along with Múinteoir Máire and Múinteoir Lára. The course was run by “The Diana Trust” and we are very proud of our newly elected Anti Bullying Ambassadors. Darren, Diolúin, Aoife, Orlaith and Anna are excitedly awaiting the first meeting of the Ambassadors and have some great ideas planned already for the school community.
Rang a 2 Múinteoir Meabh and Múinteoir Sinead celebrated their First Confession this week with Fr Pj. Congratulations to the children and many thanks to the parents who contributed to the celebrations with their time and cooking skills.
Oisín from Rang a 4 has won the Foras Patrúnachta art competition. Among his many prizes was a tablet. Special recognition was given to Róisín from Rang a 6 for her entry also.
An Garda Síochana
Two members of An Garda Síochana visited the school to talk to the children. They had some great advice for the children regarding road safety and cyber-safety. The children were full of questions.
Seachtain na Gaeilge Cake Sale
Múinteoir Caroline and children from Rang a 4 organised this year’s Cake Sale. The halla was full of delicious treats. Rang Múinteoir Meabh won the prize for the best class effort. A special delivery from Dominos arrived at the school for the entire class. Funds raised will go to “Naas Child and Family”.
An Céilí Mór
The school céilí was held this year in the GAA hall in Naas. Many thanks to Cathy for her time with us this year. Parents and children alike participated in the dancing. Rang a 6 set up a stall to sell the items they produced as part of “The Junior Entrepreneur Project”. Afterwards the Fáinne was awarded to parents who attended the Ranganna Gaeilge with Múinteoir Anita and Múinteoir Tomasina.
