Football Training

Football training will take place every Thursday (except for Sports day)  until the end of year at Killashee. Children should be collected at 3pm from the carpark adjacent to the Killashee Leisure Centre.

In Service Day

The school will be closed on Monday 13 June due to an inservice day for teachers on the new curriculum. More information on the new curriculum is attached.

Book List

Money for school books should be paid on or before 20 June. Please do not pay for schoolbooks on the sports day.

Ógras

Ógras will  take place on Wednesday 15 June. We will have an end of year party in the school.

Please remember to return photographs and/or payment to the school immediately.

Marathon

The children are still running their kilometre every Friday and are thoroughly enjoying getting fit. Sponsor cards and money may be forwarded to the school from 20 June onwards.

 

Ógras Summer Camp

The Ógras summer camp for children aged 7-12 will take place in the school from 4-8 July. Forms are available from the office.

Sports Day

Our sports day will take place on Thursday 16 June at Naas Sports Centre. All children should go directly to the sports centre in the morning. Children should bring plenty of drinks, sun cream and a raincoat. All children including infants will go home at 2.25pm. The races will take place at 9-10.30am and parents are welcome to attend.

Fágáíl Slán Rang 6

We will have our leaving ceremony for Rang 6 on Monday 27 June at 6.30pm

Lá  na mBratacha

Our celebration of raising the new flags for the school, presentation of marathon medals,  the final of Gaelfachtóir  and the official library opening will take place on Wednesday 29 June at 10.30am Parents are welcome to attend but please let us know by e- mail to gaelscoilnas@yahoo.ie if you are attending as space is limited.

Mid Summer Festival

We have received an invitation to take part in this festival at 2.30-3.30 on Saturday 25 June in the centre of Naas. Children from Rang 4-6 are needed to wear costumes and do a small performance. (song in Irish) If your child would like to take part, please let us know on or before Tuesday 14 June.
