Gaelscoil Nás na Ríogh was founded in 2002. On the first day there were 23 pupils on the roll and the principal, Anita, had charge of the class.
Eileanóir Ní Fhuaráin is the deputy principal of the school. Caroline Ní Chinnéide, Máire Ní Chonghaile, Ellen Ní Dhuaig, Cáit Ní Fhuaráin, Aisling Nic Aodha, Bertie Mac Donncha, Sinéad Nic Ghiolla Phádraig, Meabh Nic Aodha, Lára Ní Dhonnchú, Niamh Ní Choinceanainn, Caitríona Nic Giolla Bhríde, Dion Ó Caoimh, Lynn Ní Ailpín are also teaching here with us.
There will be more than 300 pupils in the school this year and we will be employing one more teacher in September.
The school relocated to a modern high technology building during the school year 2008/09.
The school received permanent recognition in September 2004.
