Cúpla Focal

This section is to help parents get started with Irish, help their child, phrases to use in in school or at home, etc.

How to help your child

You can help your child by speaking Irish when on the school premises or speaking to the teacher. You do not have to have a lot of Irish and mixing with English is fine, this way your child understands that Irish is the language at school. It will encourage your child to speak Irish also.

Glór na Ríogh

This is a voluntary organisation setup in Naas to encourage Irish speaking in the community and organise events to enhance the Irish culture in the town. Muinteoir Eleanoir is the Chairman of Glór na Ríogh.
